
Plagiarism Policy
Chrisarch – Multidisciplinary Research Journal
Chrisarch strictly adheres to the principles of academic integrity and publication ethics. We expect all submitted manuscripts to be the original work of the authors and free from any form of plagiarism.
Plagiarism Includes:
- Copying text, ideas, images, or data from another source without proper citation.
- Reproducing substantial content from one's own previously published work without acknowledgment (self-plagiarism).
- Using content from internet sources, articles, theses, or other materials without giving due credit.
Policy Guidelines
- All manuscripts submitted to Chrisarch will be checked for plagiarism using standard plagiarism detection tools.
- A similarity index of more than 15% (excluding references and quotes) may lead to rejection or return for revision.
- If plagiarism is detected after publication, the paper will be retracted and the authors may be blacklisted from future submissions.
- The journal follows ethical standards as per the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines.
Author Responsibility
- Authors must ensure that their submissions are entirely original and properly referenced.
- All sources and borrowed content must be appropriately cited.
- Any overlap with previous publications must be disclosed.
Editorial Action on Plagiarism
If plagiarism is detected:
- The editorial team will notify the author with details.
- The author will be asked to provide a clarification.
- Based on the explanation, the manuscript may be revised, rejected, or retracted.
